Pinpointing with the Explorer

This should nail the pinpoint right down to within a few inches. The Explorer has an auto shrink circuits so read the section in the Owner's Manual then refer to this illustration. They are not clear that the first leg of the X only locates the target some in the / first sweep. Because the target can be anywhere in the let / the next sweep is with a fixed point on the coil. I use the point just in front of where the shaft connects to the coil. This fixed point locates the target in the second leg \ of the X.
