Pinpointing with sniper coil?

Hello to all. I have a Garrett Ace 250 and I recently purchased the sniper coil to use in some real trashy areas. I seem to be having a little trouble pinpointing with the sniper coil. I have about mastered pinpointing with the stock coil but I seem to be off a little with the sniper coil. Anybody have a recommendation for pinpointing with this coil. ( Specific instructions) Also I have had the Ace 250 for about two months now and am really liking the MD thing. My wife is also hooked. I am already thinking of picking up a second machine, maybe upgrading. Right now I am considering the Minelab Safari or the new AT Pro. Anybody got any advice or preference between these two machines and would either be less likely to be successful for someone with my limited experience. I have put in quite a few hours and hunts with the 250 since I got it and continue to do so and think I am learning it pretty well.

Try pinpointing by raising the coil higher over the target to find center, or.....de tune it by setting the coil close to the target, hitiing the pinpoint button for a few seconds, release it, repush the button and keep your finger on it this time. Try pinpointing the target. The signal should be weaker, making the target easier to pinpoint.

Hope this helped....

The Sniper pin[oints right in the center of the coil and go with the AT PRO as it comes complete with the simple mode and the professional mode - actually two detectors in one.
