Pinpointing with 6 X 10 DD Eclipse coil

Nasty-G

New member
I have a new 6 X 10 Eclipse Coil coming. Understand pinpointing is different with this coil. Help will be appreciated. Thanks

Maybe this will help. It was posted quite some time ago and I've saved it for just this purpose. HH to all, Nancy

You can still center the DD loop as you would a conical loop too, Nancy is just showing and alternative method that works.

When using Nancy's method, if it doesn't pinpoint it's because you have slid the coil over a second target. Just do it from a different direction. Rob
