Hey guys,
I took my at pro (upgraded ver) out with the stock 8.5 X 11 DD coil out yesterday to a field to find some relics. The hunting conditions were not the best, the ground balanced at 90 and some areas in the field were very trashy areas. Since I'm new to the at pro and a DD coil in general I need some advice on the target recovery specifically pinpointing.
I read the AT pro manual and tried the pinpointing technique but it always seems I'm off target and end up digging a hole at least as large in diameter as the coil to recover a target. Is there a way to be more precise with my pinpointing technique? I try to pinpoint with the center of the coil, maybe I should try to pinpoint with the front of the coil instead.
Another possible option might be to purchase a concentric coil.
anyway any thoughts suggestions?
