pinpointing the CZ3d

I have owned the Fisher CZ-7aPro also and didn't have a problem pinpointing. Seems the d is always off by a few inches. This is a big
concern in most peoples lawns. Any help would be appreciated. These
Fishers sure go deep.

Might want to move coil to the side and hit pinpoint button. VCO should be right on...Sometimes pressing the pinpoint button directly over the target shrinks it and gives you a poor pinpoint..Remember it also could be faulty as most CZ's pinpoint the same way..

Thanx for the info gonna try it your way next time and if that don't work I guess I'll buy a pinpointer.

Pinpointers are not deep( inch or three depending on model) and are used for sides of holes, piles of dirt etc..and surely won't pinpoint an 8 or 10 inch target...
