does anyone on here, that has used a pinpointer that actually lasts out it's warranty.if so what one would that be.emubob?

TRX speaker started to fail a year after I bought it, sent it in and was given a new one, so cost me $12 in shipping. TRX has a 2 year warranty.

Garrett Pro Pinpointer - excellent, very rugged, I highly recommend it. New from Garrett is the AT Pro Pinpointer - which is waterproof to 10 feet. I just received mine, great product. It's is orange so to differentiate from the Pro Pinpointer.

Don't ignore the detector pro pistol probe. adjustable down to about 6' from target, batteries last a looong time.
I have used one heavy for 5 years with no problems other than I wore out the outside rubber cup on the switch, replaced it with a cut off piece of #2 lead pencil and wrapped some black tape around it.
Works great, I don't want to be without it long enough to send it in. Called detector pro and they said they would replace the switch if I paid the freight. Maybe I will send it in this winter if it gets to nasty to hunt.

does the new garrett false like the old one? the deteknix is good for coin size or bigger but dosnt pick up small bits of canslaw foil etc.. so looking for a pinpointer that dosnt false and picks up foil etc..

5 years on the pistol probe. Got a sunray that has lasted a while too.
