Pinpointers?

I was wondering what opinion members had on who makes the best pinpointer. What kind of range pinpointers have? I want to buy one and need some information so I make the right choice.

Thanks
Bob

Garrett's Pro Pointer don,t leave home without it:garrett::thumbup:
Good for up to two inches, deeper if soil conditions are ideal.

You won't go wrong with a Pro-Pointer! Have had mine 2 1/2 yrs. and its been thru just about everything except fire...

Pro-Pointer

Garrett Pro Pointer, without question !:thumbup::thumbup:

Uniprobe. Great headphone and probe combination.

Hi Bob, I'm old school, been detecting a hundred years, and chimned in hereabouts awhile back sorta grumbling about a pinpointer not being needed(with my Tesoros' anyway) , but finally drug myself kicking and screaming to the point of trying the Garrett ProPointer. Smooth move it was for me and glad I did! Great tool and it is rugged to the bone! HH Charlie

Thanks all for the input. Sorry Mike, but it is 6 to 1. Garrett Pro Pointer wins. Uniprobe is probably a good pointer, but I am not sure I would use headphones with a pointer. I ordered the pro pointer today.

Garrett Pro Pointer

and use it regularly, finds the small stuff quick. I also just won the Garrett Pro Pointer from the contest Bart at Big Boys Hobbies held, many thanks Bart, now I got 2 of them. HH John

Thanks for the information. The members on this site are very helpful. I ordered the Garrett Pro Pointer, and it arrived today. Took it out for a test, and I am really pleased. I was using a friends AutoMax Precision V4. It works OK, but the Pro Pointer has at least twice the range. The Pro Pointer, as most of the post said (all but one), is the pinpointer to own.

Thanks for the help!
Bob
