Pinpointer

I need to get another Pinpointer. I had two Carrots and 1 Mars Pinpointer. I was Detecting with a young boy who did not have a Pinpointer so I gave him my Mars Pinpointer, I should have given him a Carrot.

What is a recommendation for a Pinpointer. I do not want one that has Side Detection like the Carrot. I want preferably a PI Pointer that has Tip Detection only. I liked the TRX but it was not loud enough for me. Any Ideas?

Pistol Probe. Not cheap but ones I’ve seen in use seem very effective and good for 3-4” I believe on a wheat/Dime. X-1 for the FBS units. Having machine function Incorporated in a probe is useful beyond words. Look up Bill S on Youtube,he uses both on some of his videos.

Love to have another Sunray but just too expensive. I just bought a VX3 so I might be leaning to another Mars. Mars makes a very good Pinpointer.

I would never recommend the Pistol Probe. Awful Chinese build quality, big and bulky.

Whites TRX set on vibrate ! Hearing is not needed with this pinpointer.

I bought a TRX but it is falseing bad. Going to send it back for replacement.
