FYI, my new Minelab Pro-Find came in last week. I did not have much time, so I gave it a test in the yard. As many of you have already discovered, the T2 will go crazy in the presence of the Garrett Propointer. Not so with the Minelab Pro-Find! There was no interference at all!

It also has a few nice features not found on the Garrett including adjustable sensitivity and silent vibration mode.

On the other hand I think the Garrett has a stronger vibration and appears to be a bit more solidly built and is $25 cheaper,

I got my Pro-pointer a couple months after they were released. It is in its holder when I'm not using it. And when I do, I just lay my detector down with the coil pointed out and away from me. No problem at all. Several guys on the 3030 forum are saying the new ML unit (pin pointer) is very disappointing.

Sorry i didnt specify when useing the depth amplifier i.e. hair ponitail band with little metal fastner. You can get additional inch or two out of pro pointer.

You would think the people who manufacture these pin pointers would go the extra mile
if competeing with Garrett products. Kooks like they are after the quick buck!

For some reason if it says minelab people jumt to conclusions"better" than the rest. I put my t2 against etrack se pro anyday. Also my pro pointer. Sorry if this ruffels any feathers but they do it all the time. I have owned all three.

made in usa backed by a company that dont leave u on hold all day when u have a problem! Just ask some of the ctx guys what getting a person at minelab is like.....nuff said
