I've had a couple of targets that give a broken signal when in pinpoint mode, they were both trash. they werent very deep. would deep target give that sound or do they give a solid signal in pinpoint?

When I got a wheat cent down 6" using sensitivity at 16, it gave a broken sound in pinpoint. HH, George (MN)

Yeah Norm, If its at the fringes it will sometimes give that broken signal in pinpoint.. if its shallow and breaking up its usually junk.. if its reading deep and good on the meter than you better dig it
