PINPOINT STILL STICKING ???

Hi all.

I just got back my V3i. Returned all my settings like I had them. Everything is working great, but one thing.

My pinpoint still sticks occasionally when I let go of trigger. I have to squeeze trigger again to stop it.

Is this common??

I do notice it a bit when coming off the edge of a large iron halo sometimes. (I think I've adjusted for it and am just triggering out?) Small iron halos don't do it. (Can't believe how much stuff is in those halos!)

I had or have that same problem at times and notice if I use Loctrak instead of the Autotrak function it clears the pinpointing problem and make sure you keep a good Ground balance also. Try, it might work for you also.

Its not a problem.... It is just seeing another bit of metal and needs to be pulled again. Just take it off target and do it again.

Not since the upgrade for me? That's right.....I did have more sticking and hang (V3) when batteries were low or was doing a lot of iron halo searching.
