Pin Pointing with a PI Machine...?

EasySwing

New member
I have the Sea Hunter Mark II and noticed when targeting an object the object sounds off while the coil is stationary over the object as well as in motion. Is motion necessary to target the object with a PI Machine in general? Or... is my Sea Hunter different? I have the MXT and it requires constant motion for pin pointing.
Thanks, EZ

On the Sea Hunter II the standard mode is the pinpoint mode, no motion required, the discreet mode is a motion mode, motion required, atleast, that is the way I understand it. Go to Utube and type in Sea Hunter II and instructional videos will come up. HH
