pin pointing in prospecting mode

When I am in the proseting mode with my MXT, there is no pinpoint when I pull the trigger back, is this normal, new to the MXT,and was not sure. It works great in the other modes.

No, you can't pinpoint in prospecting mode. You can download a copy of the manual from Kellyco if you don't have one. The pin point mode is dependent on size apparently and since gold can be any size it wouldn't work. Whereas different coins and other objects are easier to program into the machine. My 2c. Good luck.
 
Well if you want to pinpoint just flip the switch to C/J or Relic mode and pull the trigger. Works for me.
