Hi everyone
Just thought i would ask some advise on a pin pointer that i was looking to buy.
I had the bullseye pin pointer , which unfortunately found its way into the sea ( only for about 1 second) and now obviously doesnt work.
I was looking on Kelly co and noticed, Vibra-Tector 720 Mini Metal Detector, has anyone used one of these? are they any good?, what is there depth? and what is a good price? is there a better option?
I would be using it for the beach and parks playgrounds ect.
Thanks in anticipation
Stephkade

I own 2 vibra-probes. You can't beat 'em. Had one go bad and after e-mailing the company with the problem they sent me a new one- no questions asked! They really stand behind their product. And yes, they work great underwater; the newest model floats so you can't lose it.

Hey Stephkade, I personally use the Vibra-probe 460, which was replaced by the Vibra-probe 560.
The Vibra-probe 560 floats, waterproof to 30ft., it comes with a holster, that slides on to your belt. The 560 gets an inch in detection depth on a coin sized object, and is only hot at the tip of the probe. The Vibra-probe 720 is longer in length, has a circular paddle tip, has a wrist lanyard instead of a holster, costs around $120 plus shipping with Kellyco. I don't know the detection depth on the 720. The 560 costs around $95, and I believe you get FREE SHIPPING if you purchase it from CLEVENGER'S METAL DETECTORS in the midwest states. You can get the 800 number out of Western-Eastern Treasure or Lost Treasure
Magazines. The company that manufactures the Vibra-probes is out of California, and they are GREAT TO DEAL WITH! Hope this helps, lol,hh.

Hey Stephkade, the Vibra-probes work equally well on dry land. Merlin also makes an excellent pinpointer, but it is NOT WATERPROOF. LOL.

The Probe that works the best is the Sunray probe without a doubt as it is accualy a 1 inch coil. Being it is a accual coil it will do what you main coil does other than the depth of the stock coil. The depth with the Sunray probe is very impressivre unlike many of these hand held probes..
