pin pointer best

I would like 2 buy a pin pointer
have read some go down 4 or 5 inch's
the one I have about 1 inch
would like 1 that vibrates

Great pinpointer is the Garrett pro-pointer and it vibrates too.

Id say an inline is the best just because it doesnt interfere and create EMI why pinpointing. They have great depth and function like a smaller coil. The do not vibrate, add weight, and are detector specific. Id have to say the Garrett is currently the choice as a hand held. Disadvantage.... you can walk off and loose them and being a PI do create EMI noise.

I have to say the garrett is a great pointer but i have sided with the pistol probe , because its deeper and i like the momentary on off but the pro pointer is very rugged and only 1" shalower i would go with a garrett if i did not have the pistol

Uniprobes.
But they don't vibrate.

Pro-pointer! (I've never had an interference problem with it unless you turn it on with it next to the detector's search coil)

The pistol probe is to big,
The handle isn't shaped right, its to tapered forward and your hand slides forward.
