the pin point button on my xt50 is getting harder and harder to use.this morning after pin pointing a target,i couldn't turn the pin pointer off.turned the machine off and on.this sorted it out this time.i have noted of late it's more of a press and wait syndrome.the pressure point that actuates the button is not always in the same spot.i have to continually search around on that little spot to make it work.is this a common occurence with this machine?can you fix it at home or does it have to go back to the manufacturers?new machine, not happy .blowfly

Short of sending it in for repair try this. But a small pack of those clear soft plastic self stick cabinet door bumpers. The round ones with a dome shape. Stick it on the PP button. See if that helps?

I have that problem sometimes. I think its an alighnment problem if I push a little higher on the button I have no problems.
