I am trying to take pictures of the coins I have found to put on here. I have a digital camera but so far they come out to dark, blurry,to light. I zoom in and it makes them blurry but to far back and you can't tell what they are? I am hoping some one has some good thoughts on what will help.

Thank you
Mike Simpson

try taking pic then opening it then use magnifier on pic preview and enlarge it then save it then post it.u might right click on pic and options will pop up then choose magnify.hope it works for u!

to take pics of any coins or items that i find,i use a 3.2mp camera with an eye loupe in front of the lens.make sure the item is well lit and don't use a flash.you can see on the display if the item is in focus. works well for me. the 1/2 dime pic was taken this way. may take a little experimenting to get it right.

Wow...and it works really well.
