Pictures of the beach after the storms!

Hi guys, here are some pictures of the beach where I live in the UK. It is normally a golden sand beach. It has a ridge of pebbles 12 ft high and 2miles long to stop the sea from flooding an old salt marsh. As you can see the sand has nearly all gone, and it's down to the clay. The wooden post in the picture is normally completely covered by sand. The pebble ridge has been breached, the grass was 4ft underwater the other morning. Each day diggers and bulldozers are trying to rebuild as best they can, each tide takes more away. The high tides were being whipped up by 70 mph onshore winds. I'm just heading back down now, it's midnight here, I'm going to try and get 4 hours in. I'll post my finds tomorrow. Hope you like the pics :)
