Picture size requirements on findmall

Holiday Greetings! I recently posted a picture of a coin on this website but I noticed the size of the pic couldnt be more than approx. 400kb. The quality of my posted pic was poor and I cannot get an expanded pic size when I click the pic. How are some of these avid users of this site able to post quality pic with the limited size requirements? I have a decent Sony digital camera, and I'm able to get a quality pic but it's too big to post here. Any help is greatly appreciated. Here's the pic I posted.

I have the same issue, all my photo's are too large. Kelly suggested the following and it works for me, although it takes a few extra steps!
While in Browse, click on your photo,
Click EDIT
Click RESIZE
Click on PIXELS, NOT CM
Use 1000 and save.
The picture should upload, if it is still too big, use 950 PIXELS...
I am sure Fred will quide you if this dosn't work !

Thank you for the info!

If it did not work for you, let us know and we will try to figure out why. Please have a Merry Christmas! Kelley (Texas) :)

The way I do it is to Email myself the pictures and when I send, it asks me what size do I want to send. I always choose Medium. Windows Mail re-sizes all of the pictures all at once and I get them right back all sized right to work on Finds. I save them to my picture file which Finds will browse when you click Upload.

What address do I use to get a file to get here? Small JPG 289 KB. Can't figure how to make it bigger.
Thanks, Ron

Don't know what I did that time. Get a better size pic on the touchsmart photo scanner. Can't get it to come up.

let me know where they are located? I always post using the "Upload File" mode, and have never tried to upload a picture directly to the Forum. I am thinking, why can't the picture be saved in a folder on the computer, then resized, then posted using the "Upload File?" Kelley (Texas)
