Picture of the place I found the FRANC coin

I am still amazed that I found a FRANC coin, especially the place where I found it. If you look at the picture you can see where I made a red circle, this is part of the tot lot section. There is a small strip of grass that seperates the two swing set sections & that is where I found several coins (especially nickels) and the FRANC coin. I have to go back, there is alot of area that I haven't hit yet. Is there any special area that you's think I ought to investigate closely. Thanks! Steve

And a big thanks to Tesoro, your detectors rock.....

Not sure how old it is Elton, the previous picture that I posted and this one is the only ones I could find. This photo was taken in 1955.

With that being said Steve, I would go east to west, then north to south, rinse, reverse, repeat. That whole area should give you lots of enjoyment for the whole summer.

Good luck Sir !!

Would love to have you, Elton, and the rest of you Tesoro swinging folks up here helping me hunt it. I have quite a number of places like this up here and no but my wife & I hunts them as far as I know. Here is where I found the pictures that I posted http://gouverneurcentralschool.org/schools/westside/ I was born and brought up in this town (until I was 11, then moved about 20 miles away), my borther went to this school (West Side School), I went to East Side School on the other side of town.
