From the picture of the faceplate, it looks like you can adjust the frequency by using the sensitivity + and - buttons while holding down the pinpoint. If this is the case, just wandering what the range is? and is it operating frequency or audio frequency?
 
Probably audio. Operating frequency is 15 khz. I have suggested to them before to come out with multiple adjustable operating frequency for the ultimate machine that could hunt for anything aywere in the world.
