PICTURE compared to stock 12" - My new 8x6 SEF came in

I knew it was going to be small compared to the stock 12", but this thing is tiny! We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I made the right decision

Yep it is a smaller coil but don't let that fool you it is a great and very sensitive coil .. I use one on my M6 and have dug indian head pennies at 7 to 8 inches with it , with a good signal on my targets . Only thing I noticed was at that depth the VDI was off and not always the same for each target , but the tone was right for the targets. I also dug a large cent with mine but wasn't as deep as I would of expected it to be . I leave mine on all the time but I only hunt dirt no beaches here in Missouri where I live . If I was going to hunt a big open field or a beach I would switch to your bigger coil just so I could cover a bigger area faster. You will not be sorry for purchasing the 8x6 ts a great coil .

AMEN to that. That 12" coil is a heavy beast. It has it's applications though.
