Pics Of Yesterday's Finds With GT Water Hunting- 2 Rings, 1 Earing, 1 Junk Watch

The silver ring is marked sterling and has a hallmark. The black stone on top had some swirls in it (maybe green or gray or something). Anybody know what kind of stone that might be?

The "gold" ring really had my heart going when I saw it in the scoop but it looks to be plated. What does SKL stamped on it stand for?

The earing didn't come out well picture wise but it's got a bunch of fake diamonds all the way around it and also had me hoping for a second until I flipped it over and saw it was junk metal.

The watch is a woman's band and gave almost a complete null from any direction even though it was only maybe 4" deep.

Planning another water hunt later today.

You had a good hunt, even the junk jewelry is better than nothing...Can't really see the stone in the silver ring ...SKL...Sorry Keep Looking?..Good Luck on the next hunt...

SKL would mean nothing but possibly the makers mark. What else is inside? LOL Sorry Keep Looking!! Good one Bob!! If it has 10K or 14K along with those initials it should be the real deal. The ONLY initials you need to frown on are:

HGE Heavy Gold Electroplate
GF Gold Filled
RG Rolled Gold

Some fake gold rings are marked real also. After you find tons of them you will be able to spot fakes fast

Those are for sure plated. If you don't know, every jewlery store I know tests for free. Probably the same in your area.

Good luck today.
