I am having trouble reducing the size of the pics and posting them .what software is every one using and how are you doing it.Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just upload them to http://www.flickr.com/ then I just copy and paste the "2. Grab the photo's URL:" into you post. You don't need to resize your pice ever again.

I used the following process to insert these photos below.

select "all sizes"

select "2. Grab the photo's URL:"

then just paste it in to this post, it will automatically insert it in to you post.

Take your photos a little larger than desired. After they are on your hard drive, open them with any decent photo viewer like the one included with Windows. Click on Fix or Edit and crop the photos down to a size where they are less than 420 KB. After you've done this once or twice, you'll know exactly how much larger your photos need to be when you take them. If you use this method your photos will super size when clicked on within your post. I use the 3.2 mega pixel setting on my camera as a starting point.

I use Picasa2 from Google, its free and does great things for photos, organises all your shots, does simple color and hue adjustments, and makes it really easy to create online photo albums. To re-size the images just use the "Export" function and then just find them and link to them when creating your posts. I also use Photoshop but it is quicker and easier in Picasa.
