Not sure on the stones. I thought rubies when I pulled it out. But, when held up to the light , they're more pinkish-purple than red. Not amatheyst though. light colored rubies ? , garnets ? , or fake purple plastic ? LOL !
 
Wow id be showing that off too. Those are the kind you dont like melting down.

Yeah , it's interesting looking. I'd like to find what kind of stones they are. Wish it wasn't missing two of the stones either ! Kind of makes it destined for the melt pile. Thanks all for your comments !
