Picnic Grounds Hunt Part 2

New member
2nd day hitting the picnic grounds. Found another Silver Quarter. That makes 3 that this park has given up. Plus one Standing Half (My First) and a 1960 Roosie. Plus 30 Clad Quarters, 28 Clad dimes, 8 wheat cents and 30 pennies. I think tomorrow I will only dig nickels and see if I can find a gold ring!! The picnic grounds is a decent size but I have found all the silver close to the large trees and road side. Haven't ventured off onto the sports field yet. I will post what I find tomorrow until then Happy Hunting everyone!! Hope your New Years brings plenty of silver and gold!!

My avatar is a picture of my son. I am 36 years old. Just started detecting again after not owning one for about 8 years.

Congrats Nice Finds !!

Thanks Karl,

Getting back into detecting after a long lay off. Love the excitement when you see that silver in the hole you just dug.

That's Right ! I got all 3 of my Daughters into detecting and even got my niece into it, bought her a BH Pioneer ex for Christmas, her first time out she found a hand forged nail some reg nails and a hand full of change and a huge Argentina coin looks like our dimes but the size of a silver dollar or a little bigger.

Anyways Congrats, and don't forget to take the Kid with for some Bonding time. makes great memories !!
