Picked this up USED, hope I did ok.

Seen this Ace 350 about a month ago but didnt bite even though its the unit I was looking to purchase, anyway, decided if it was still there I was gonna do it. Best deal I could get was $200 for what you see. Dont know any history on it as this was in a pawn shop. Had to haggle and wheel & deal, but I have the unit I was wanting, so, we'll see. So, good deal or no good deal?
Thanks.
Ken.

Yea, you did good.

Well thanks, I feel better about that, I'm always a bit leary of buying used electronics, more so because you have no warrantee. Gotta see if the user manual is available online. I have tried it out in my backyard, just some "testing" of coins, iron, alum, brass and such, looks good so far, cant wait to try it for real. :detecting:

[size=large]if it works you got a great deal. kellyco has the manual on-line as probly garrett also.

Got it downloaded, that for that controlfreq.

Well, I've found a number of coins with the 350, nothing special yet, just learning the machine. I need to get a better handle on the pinpointing method though. A few times I think I have it located perfectly and end up with several holes close together and had to use my Coinmaster 6000 Di to find it, but a few times I dug down to the depth indicated and its right there visible. Need to do some more testing with known targets to really get a handle on it, but so far I really like it.
Ken.

If you go to the Garrett website and look under the "Learn and Explore" tab they have all types of instructional videos for the various machines they make. They do have a pinpointing video for the 350. Looks like you got a good deal!
