Went for a solo spin this lovely day and ran my Aquasearch in clean surf areas. Temps were mid 40s, but I wore my waders to stay a little warmer today. Sun was just starting to break the horizon, as I began at 630A, into a 927A -0.6L and with the NE winds at 5-10, it was blown out another 1/2'-1'. Very righteous conditions. The 1st surf area I chose, was quite poor. Seems my buddies Spanky and John had cleaned it up the day before, while I was at work! They did miss the 2 Chucky Cheese tokens, a few meager coins and the .925 stud w/CZ. I moved on a little after 8A, to another surf area, but failed to separate the nut. The next surf area was better and was hunting between the 2nd and 3rd bar, deep in the mine. Saw another hunter in the wet/dry sand and got to meet him and his parents after the hunt, Excal 1000 kinda guy. Good taste he has! Anyway, plugged along and got some real knarley DEEP stuff.

The loot take was a total clad count of $.48, ferrous bangle, thin brass medallion w/hole off an earring, .925 hoop, the .925 stud w/CZ, ferrous toe ring, mood ring and the PRIZE. The fine unit is 10K, with a pink colored heart shaped stone and has 2 CZs on each side.

I was hoping for ICE, but Huntress saw the CZ inscribed on the inside of the band, before I could get a loupe on it! It was MIGHTY NICE to get gold of any kind! My appetite is wet for a 2nd helping in the morning! Huntress is going too! It's suppose to be in the high 40s tonight and up to 65 tomorrow, wetsuit time! Quit at around 11A.

Great to meet you too Hothgar. Could not remember your forum name! I went and looked at the waders this morning. The tag says 3mm. Also found a part # for reference at Cabela's 81-0762. You may find a pair that suits you better. Camo is not my 1st choice for pirating (wish they were all black). Those started life as my duck hunting waders. Wear breathables for duck hunting now. Keep swingin'!

The 10k gold ring with the pink heart cz and surrounding stones, I found it's identical twin last week! Exactly the same ring. I found it at the beach on my 2nd day with my new dfx! Have only had the dfx for about a week and a half, but thoroughly love it. And the 1st ring on my 2nd day out didn't help "cure" the "bug" either....we are hooked! Just thought it ironic that I found the exact same ring. :)
 
OH ya, jrb434 you are officially ruined. I found a gold ring w/amethest CZs my 1st time in the water, with a Mark II and it turned out to be plated. I've been wrecked ever since. This sport is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! I could think of a lot of other stuff in this world that is more destructive. This is just GREAT FUN! CONGRATS!
