been off the forum for awhile, there was a couple of people wanting info on the shaft i made.
go to boaters world and get a piece of 3/4 stainless tubing. it comes in 8 ft lenths. you will have to drill your own holes
. for the handle get a stainless 45 with a set screw for the handle. i took the spring clips from my s shaft.
 
stainless steel will be ultra heavy though. I would just go to www.#@$%+.com and buy one of these, don't waste your time and money trying to build it yourself!!!
 
The powers to be don't want specific sites detailed as it may or may not be a violation of this site..In any case nice job but again several outfits now sell the straight shafts quite reasonable and they are light and usually well made..
