PI Machine Scores Good In The Deep Snow Again!

Lakes still have a couple of feet of ice on them, however the edges (sand)should be exposed in a week or so if the weather stays above freezing. My hunt started at 5 PM, as that's when all the people go to supper and I didn't finish until 10PM. Of course I used a flashlight for most of the hunt on the snow hills. I measured a clad dime on its side at 7 inches in the snow. The Mark II got me a little over $20.00. Simply amazing how much better this machine is vs. my other VLF machines. But then, it has its limitations as to where it can be properly utilized too! Thanks for looking :)

Nice Nut John, WTG!!
As one crazy canuck to another I've got to respect your dedication to the hobby. Had to have been cold on that hunt, unless you had a chinook blowing through.
Keep it up, good things coming this summer if that's what you can find in the snow.

Another week with warmer weather should open the edges of my nearby lakes. What part of Canuckland are you from?

Where am I from? Calgary, Vancouver Island, Toronto and Muskoka in the past.
NOW, sunny Bermuda and I can hunt all year without the snowshoes. lol
If you ever vacation here, look me up and I'll show you around. It won't take long as the island is only 21 sq. mi.

It just keeps turning up and turning up... LOL...and each time I see it I remember my gloves freezing to that old metal scoop and my right foot freezing cause those waders leaked...hmmmm...

Wanna go water hunting John? I've got an ice auger around here someplace.....
;)

Well, I guess you have been around. Bermuda.....that's sounds like s fantastic place to live. No such luck leaving here. Four busy kids and a wife, I'm lucky if I can go to Red Deer (Sylvan Lake) for a day. :) Thanks for the offer :)
