photos of older model detectors

New member
Greetings to one and all detectorists...I would like to obtain photos of early model metal detectors so I can use them in a PowerPoint slide presentation I want to put together for my, you guessed it, computer class...if you have the time and photo I would be very grateful if you would e-mail it to me. I did find a photo of a WWll "mine detector" that I will use. Again, if there is anyone out there that has a photo or two of the "early" detectors I will be grateful. My e-mail address is nmhntr66@gmail.com. Thank you.

Here's a forum dedicated to the subject. Although it gets infrequent traffic, you can scroll back through a year or two, and some nice gems have been posted there. Pix of WWII mine detectors, early 2-box units, and primitive early 1950s efforts are scattered throughout the old posts.
