Photo Size Reduction for Posting

Running a Nikon 8800 and my pictures end up being about 1.4M. I want to post some pictures in other sections of this forum but the size of the file is too large. It's probably been answered lots of times before, but could you provide a link for me to get instructions on how to resize so I can post here? I don't really want to purchase a high price piece of software that does everything. Just want to post. Regards...Jim

It is easy and works great and can be found for under 20 bucks

If your running Vista may try Pixresizer or VSO free for downloading, or if your running windows XP use powertoys for windows. image resizer. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Hope this helps.
