Photo re-sizing HELP!

I am sitting here trying to re-size photos to put on the forum.Someone said to find your photo,drag it to the desktop and it would be reduced,well i did that and the forum said it's too big?i can do it on my desktop but this laptop won't let me????? any ideas friends ?

IrfanView is a free photo editor that works great.

u dont need all that just right click on the pic then .... open with.... thren ...paint.... the click..... image .... then.... resize.... just put 50 insted of 100 thren save on done if it does not take do it again
