this picture was taken off the computer my button is in very good shape but is tarnished and dirty I have not yet decided if I will try to clean it or leave it as it is thanks for looking
 
Aw heck - why all the cleaning effort - I'm missing a button on a jacket so go ahead and send it to me:thumbup:
 
Your button reminds me of a World War I veteran, Mr. Carpenter, I knew when I was a lot younger. He was shell shocked during the war and wasn't just right mentally, but every Memorial day he put on his old uniform, raised an America flag and paid tribute to his buddies that didn't make if back from the war. Although the old coat and uniform were worn and threadbare, he was every bit the soldier he had been in 1918. Thanks for posting that, it brings back a lot of memories..
