The new ending date will be Monday, June 22 at midnight. Members will then submit one vote for their choice of who they think submitted the best entry by Private Message to me by Friday, June 26, midnight. I will tally the votes and announce the winner on Saturday June 27, 2015.
Lets be reminded that the Photo Contest is something new for our Forum and is designed as a fun event. We have never had a photo contest before and this is a learning process, and it appears that the duration of the photo contest was too short, thus the extension. When the ending date was announced, we did not know that we would experience severe storms and major flooding that would possibly prevent some members from being able to participate, nor did I stop to think that there were other circumstance that could prevent member participation because of the short duration of the photo contest.
Hopefully this adjustment to the rules of our first photo contest will encourage and enable more participation. Lets have some fun. Kelley (Texas)
