All taken with Nikon D-80 and 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR Zoomed all the way to 200. Free hand with vibration reduction turned on. No post editing except to crop and resize. Taken in Shutter priority mode at 1/500 and camera picked the aperature of 7.1 (If I remember right).

Amazing shots Dave! I have a Digital Rebel XT and I'm getting ready to upgrade to the newer XTi... Looking at your photos caused me to spin out on the 'net and read a couple in depth reviews of your D-80. I found one that compared the XTi against the D-80 and I think the only thing I can really find is the XTi is a little less expensive.

Once again.. Amazing shots! The pheasant is nearly the entire color palette all in one, isn't he..?

Simply breathtaking pictures Dave!

First time on the forum, and I'm sure I'll be a frequent visitor.

Was contemplating a more ambitious camera than my simple Cybershot.

Now I'll go away and study your camera's profile...but do I need to?

I think you've already decided it for me...........MattR.UK.

p.s. Where are you located?

...is like telling a chef, "The food was delicious, you must have expensive pots and pans". :D

Nice shots yellowdogdave.
