Pewter Discs?

These are made of pewter for what?

No idea..
Are they the same on both sides??

Here's a pic of the other side.Stamped out more like a coin or flat button.Doesn't have raised dot or recessed dish shape around edge.

We need more information about them. What is their diameter and thickness? What general area or state were they found in. Were they found on a battlefield, in a park, a farm field, in someones yard, etc. Was there some kind of factory, battle, or unusual activity at the site where they were found?

Any extra information that you can give will help ID them.

How do you know they are pewter? Just wondering how you came to that conclusion.
Not doubting your id but just want to know if there is a way you can determine by a
test that something is pewter. Want to know for my future possible testing of a find.

I would say lead seals that the railroad used. I have found many. Sometimes you can see where a wire attached in 2 places. Sometimes you can't. Usually you can see that something was stamped on it, but they are really hard to make out.
