I was able to get out for some long hunts this weekend and headed to the old Pittsburgh parks to meet up with some friends. I was using the 17" coil because for me it seems to hit more solidly on the deeper coins with a better TID/tone. Saturday, I started out with a 1945 Merc at about 5". A couple of hours later, I got a nice tone/ID with some thunking at the end of my sweeps. Screen showed 11", so I dug down and got a Barber spill, which was my first silver spill. Ended up being a 1902 O Barber Quarter and a 1916 Barber dime. Hit up another old park on Saturday and ended up getting 6 silvers, 5 Mercs and 1 Rosie. That was my best silver day ever. I also got about $12 in clad, a mystery copper coin that is smooth (I can't make out anything), 19 wheats (oldest is 1911), and an Indian.
