I live in New Orleans and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice about finding resources for researching historic areas and gaining permission on private land. I’ve been hitting parks some and houses I lived in previously but the ground is very trashy as you would expect. If anyone can give me some advice for detecting down here or in the NV mountains where I’m from I would love to hear it. Also, if anyone would like to bring me on a hunt I’d be forever grateful! I’m running an AT pro but am finding it hard to dig anything but trash and modern coins. Is everything good in the city very deep?! Anyway, hope to hear from a more experienced detectorist with some knowledge. Thanks!
