Permission on an 1860 home

Ohio Digger

New member
Got permission about a week ago by te time he called me so I went today for about 40 minutes. I can't believe the iron in this place. It was a constant null. Tried TTF but still struggled. I think next time in going to try a different section of the yard. My hunt got cut short when the property owner called my cell phone to help him locate property stakes at another location of his. Couldn't find those either lol :( Not all that great of a day. Hopefully I can find a cleaner section in the yard next time.

Right now I only have the stock coil. If I get a smaller coil it will probably be the 8x6. I like the one on the DFX a lot. Is the 6" DD Excelerator coil any good though? Someone is selling one near me on Craigslist. He didn't list a price and I haven't called him yet.

Get the 8x6 coil and crawl along in TTF and i bet you can get a few goodies.

I have both the 6x8 and 6" Excellerator. They are both good and have their uses. I use the 6x8 a lot in iron spots.

I don't use the 6" very often, but when you need it it works well. It is deep compared to its size.

I hope you get back and find some great things in this yard.
