Permission=good...blizzard=bad!

I called the Mayor in the next town over to see if it was ok to detect where the old school used to be. It was built in 1913 and torn down I think in the 60's or 70's. There was a very old church beside it that is gone now too. Also, there is another old church right there that is still active. It's a huge area, so when he told me it was no problem for me to detect there, I was really happy. He then told me that a couple of years ago there were 2 guys that detected the park, which is right next to this spot. I'm really hoping that they didn't realize there used to be a school there, and it is still "virgin". At any rate, the AT Pro should find some goodies I think.

I have been planning to go detect this new spot tomorrow for a couple of weeks now. I got permission from the Mayor, permission from my wife (LOL), and it's supposed to be sunny and seasonable. The problem is that in the last 18 hours we have had a ridiculous amount of snow. IT'S APRIL 30th FOR PETE'S SAKE!!! There is a drift in my front yard that's 4 feet deep. Yesterday there was ZERO snow left, it was all melted, and spring was starting to happen. I guess I shouldn't complain, I feel bad for the Tornado victims in the South, and the flood victims in Manitoba/Saskatchewan.

Is anybody else getting this blizzard?

Keep it out your way we dont need it here the blzzard that is:rofl:
