From the land of the Bluenose...with Marie's vacation almost at an end we took a drive to the valley to see if we could find some nice peachess and cream corn at Hennigars which we did along with an ice cream on just a super day. Hit a traffic snag that turned out to be a giant yardsale so we popped in and popped out with a few books and movies.

Of course I "just" happened to have the swishing gear in the trunk and we were by Lumpsten's Dam so Marie granted me an hour to swish . Place is a challenge to swish with the rocks and mud and did pick up a small 925 toe ring and something unwanted....the swimmer's itch...Lord love a duck.

So after an hour had 9 coins, earing and a silver toe ring Not much to show for the trouble!

That evening we took the ferry to Halifax, walked the boardwalk and saw a most perfect sunset over the twin bridges into the Bedford Basin.
