Pepsi bottle

birdman

Member
I was out hunting and found this Pepsi bottle here in Germany. It will be good for conversation when I get back to the states. Under Pepsi it says limonade koffeinhaltig. It is around 30 years old is my guess. HH:usaf:

The label is in excellent conditon for the look of it Birdman. I came across a bottle dump about 4 years ago where I used to live, and most ofthe bottles and soft drinks or medicinal, and there's so many of them, I just took a few and left the rest. The dump dates to about the 1940's to 1950's, and aren't the age of bottles I usually look for.

Hello, It looks in your picture that there is only one dot between pepsi and cola. Before 1951 there were two dots between pepsi and cola, and only one dot after 1951.
Hope this helps, Keep on diggin............

Thanks much Denverdc, This does help. I think the bottle is probably not much more then 30 years old or so but still a keeper.:beers:

Hey Birdman have you ever hunted around Ashafenberg (spelling) it's the town going from Frankfurt to Wurzburg. There used to be a Army Kasern there that had a rod and gun club, kind of. It was called the AOR club and they had great steakes. Anyhow I found a butt ton of older bottles in and around the woods surrounding the club. Lots of Coke bottles and such. Just a little more information for your use.
