Exercise your rights to comment, in a responsible manner, and bring the manufacturers to public account.

If they continue to ignore sensible queries on issues regarding any product YOU have personally purchased, then they are doing themselves a dis-service.........MattR.UK.

This opinion is NOT directed to any specific manufacturer, but to ALL manufacturers.

cause really brother they have a top notch detector on the market that will speak for itself. Many have already attested to the fine abilities of this new to market detector. It ranks in the Top Line of all of them in comparison studies from people who have no reason to lie. Respected people of the forum who know each other, and have great reputations as detectorist. These forum members stretch across our nation and each and everyone of them have many hours in the field while hunting in various soil conditions and learned to listen to the many facets of metal detecting. We learn from these fine people and I can only hope to serve them as a brother detectorist someday!

Most of these are own people of the forum who bought the T2 just to see what it would do. Teknetics has already earned our respect, and not only that they have our appreciation too! Work has been put into this detector, it's not just another detector to the market. It's a detector that future detector will have to stand up too!

Personally I own one, I hunt with a Garrett GTI 2500 and I have lots of hours on it, I personally think that the Teknetic's T2 will give the Garrett a run for the money. As a competition detector the Tek T2 will out hunt the Garrett 2500. But as an all around detector I'm not ready to give my Garrett up just yet! This year I'll start attending competition hunts for the first time. July will open with Shreve Ohio and approx. 8,000.00 in Gold and Silver for the taking! Awesome!
I'll need another 3 months with T2 before I make any decisions seriously enough to sell the GTI. But I'm telling you I want to see the Tek Guys out here...you bet I do. I want to see a smaller coil, and everything else should fall into place.

Now let's go detecting!

Hi KCK.

My 'outburst' was a general comment aimed at those manufacturers who have produced detectors with flaws in their functionalities.

If 'They' cared to monitor the forums then would find a valuable source of feedback to alert them to possible problems in production.

I have watched several video promotions on the leading detectors and in my honest opinion, THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE MATERIAL THEY'RE COPIED ON. The most apt word to describe them is BANAL.

How about the next promotional video being made by a bunch of detectorist, firstly testing in real time in the field, then discussing the unit afterwards?

Well......I can dream can't I?........MattR.UK.

p.s.

My detecting Buddy has just ordered the T2. It should be here in about a weeks time. I can assure you that we will be thoroughly testing it.

We are excited to be one of the first in the UK to purchase one.
If it performs as well as you guys have indicated, then believe me, TEXAS will feel the benefits of our no-nonsense appraisal.

Can't wait........Matt...UK

And I'm for sure with you on a bunch of detectorist's doing a video...I'd buy it in a heart beat. Wow...what an awesome idear(hehehe) for some detector company to to not just read this post of yours but to actually act on it!

Don't forget everyone that tomorrow night on Discovery Channel Garrett's starting his new Treasure expeditions. I sure hope theres a lot of valuable information that will be on the series!

Garrett.com for info

Thanks for the heads up Matt, and I'll be looking for that review brother in the UK!
