today i finally got out to these two spots i had high hopes of since the have never been detected and they have a long history behind them. The first spot was a freshwater beach that is usually very busy in the summer. After 2 hours of detecting that spot i came up with 5 beer cans 10 pull tabs and a nickle. It disgusts me that people can just throw away their garbage instead of burying it in the sand. Anyway at the second spot it was a little less dirty, but i found 5 pulltabs 2 beer cans and 60 cents in clad.

Sounds to me like that spot might be hunted more than you think. On a positive note as far as the trash goes, you get to be the good citizen that is cleaning up the place, and helping put a positive view on our favorite hobby.

i can tell right off,, you are following behind me..... these are the same places i've been.......

I agree....no respect for others. Not too good on the finds. Looks like it has been hunted. Things just kind of turn out that way sometimes. On a positive note, you helped clean up the beach. Those kinds of things give us all a good reputation, especially when someone sees us doing it.

Heres a tip always keep the junk you pickup and keep it in the pouch until the end of the day. Confronted by park employess always nice to show them you are cleaning up the area...

As far as people in general fortunately many do use the trash cans but many do not and guess we just have to cope with it along wth the dog walkers that don't pick up either....

Some of my park time is spent walking my pet Keeshound and certainly do pick up as should all....Whew glad those piles don't register on our meters....

My dog ate tinsel once off the Christmas tree...Hope you don't find that pile...Is that stuff foil or plastic though???

HH,

gold and silver will pop up after you get it all cleaned up

Just imagine what their homes must look like! There are a lot of two legged PIGS roaming around out there!!!
