I was joining Gunwolf on a Hunt at the Giving Park.
He had already found a bunch of Clad and A Button but No It Is A Shield Nickel!:yikes:

No Pressure

I found a Wheat first and there is nothing wrong with that.
I ended up finding Three Wheat Pennies, 1935, 1945 and 1951.

I was Detecting in TTF and circling a Old Large Tree and got a solid 12-46 between two roots and struggled to retrieve the Coin.
Out popped out a Large Coin and it is a 1853 Large Cent, Wow, and as I continued circling the Tree I got a 1863 Fatty IH..Unbelievable A PENNY TRIFECTA!

There was also a Old or Vintage Pin of a Rider and a Horse and a small Aluminum GrimLand 10 Cent Play Coin I know nothing about.

During the Hunt I ended up Finding some Old Bottles while digging Trash. I included in the Photo Two additional Bottles found by Brian the day before.
Unfortunately, one of the Bottles fell and broke and I attempted to Glue it together but the stopper was unable to be inserted back into the Bottle but I believe the Bottles are still worth a View.

You have to put the stopper back in the bottle b4 you glue it back together. The type of stopper you have the is called a "Hutchinson" They were Patented first in 1876 and used until about the early 20's........NGE

Tried that but then I was unable to glue pieces back together with the stopper placed inside

The stopper was compressed in the Bottle when it was found, once it broke it was released and I could not force it back given the condition of the Bottle and my hope to glue it back together

Thank you for the information about the age of the stopper but I may not share this information with Brian because he got really upset when it was accidentally broken and now it could be as old as 1876:cry:

Did you break it over his head? Accidents happen.

I have a beautiful cobalt blue Detroit Central Bottling works bottle that has the same stopper in it, however the bottle style has been made since 1830 to 1920's. But the stopper tells me this particular bottle was made at least in 1876 or later.......NGE
