Penny Day at Abandoned farm

Goes4ever

New member
I hunted at an old abandoned farm, I have been there several times before. And this place has never produced silver. I wanted to give it another try since it is close to home. I managed 4 wheats, oldest was 1910. The grass is just too high, it was never mowed at all last year and it is all matted down from the snow etc.....I tried! Got an old insulator too it is dated 1893, it was sticking in mud

At least you got out and had some fun if you can call it that.
It was a good hunt. There were days I only got a cent. But there's no promises in life. Just opportunities.

Happy Hunting

With a penny that old, there has to be a silver or two out there. I know what you need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good find.

I love old houses like that. Congrats on the pennies, i think they're great. Hope you get some silver, too. Great pictures.

Man I hunted in teh high grass today too. I only got 1 cent and a ton of trash.

Goes4ever, good stick-to-itive-ness and persistance! Nice video. The design of that old house is almost the exact same design as my grandparents house built in about 1934. The porch and everything.

For clearing brush before metal detecting. Cutting that overgrown vegetation this may help someone. If they have a Quad ATV to tow the big one, or use the smaller hand push walk-behind one, and a small trailer to haul either one behind your car or truck.

Man,
That sure looks like a good spot for some silver.... don't get discouraged!!
I believe there is some silver in there, but it may take a few more hunts to find it.
I like the film footage you posted also.
Good luck,
Felix
