A funny thing happened on the way to the grocery store. I decided I'd ride my bike to my local Meijer grocery store to do a little shopping. On the way back home, I crossed the main intersection and there sprawled out throughout the entire intersection was hundreds & hundreds of pennies. Unfortunately the ones I was able to quickly pick up were in bad shape from being run over by passing traffic. A week later I rode to the same store taking the same streets and found that all of the pennies were totally gone. Oddly enough I don't think they were gathered by anyone detecting but by the local road commission because it was causing quite a stir at the time. Weird huh?
