I've found that most homesteads will usually produce at least a few Indian Head cents and a trade token or two. Silver's a different story though. Maybe one out of three produce any silver coins. Good luck with your new site. Hope it produces silver for you.

Congratulations Gunnar,

...You are on the right track to better finds, some of my best relics and some old coins too, have come from old homesteads/farm steads. I will be working on some old farms soon, I will be driving a wheat truck this harvest. You might offer to help the farmer then maybe with some good deeds...... good blessings will come your way. Hope it works out for you.

Hombre i watch those truckes drive right out into the feild its just amazing how many truckloads they take out of a feild, good spot your in make the most of it , the house is abandoned but still standsand is not all mucked up so good chance. of finding some vintage toys or a small stash, or a few lost coins, or a token from nearby small towns. I will let you know how it goes
