Peerless?

yesterdays yard hunt turned up more junk than coins this time around, but one thing got me rather excited. Got a good signal, not great, but dug just to remove it, and up turned this badge.
I have searched and searched the web for the same badge, and could only fond one with the same font, but different style.
so here's the head badge. second pic is closest match I could find.
Peerless bicycles are an old Co., and this looks kinda 30s ish?, the font that is. I could be wrong of course , might not even be off a bike...?

There seem to be enough similarities in the two pics to believe that they are from the same source.

For my money they are the same.

I like finding things like that so, well done mate.

Interesting find. If memory serves me correctly, I think you're on the right track. Peerless was a bicycle company and that name plate has the same font.

I did a search and I typed in peerless head badge . I think you are right it is a bicycle .
